I am an artist from Harlem, NYC. In 2024, I received my BA in Visual Art, Dance, and Accessibility Studies from Bennington College.

There is a soft vibration or ‘hum’ omitted from all living things that I’m interested in listening to more closely. Painting helps me tune into this music. By creating tension—between bodies in motion, colors in space, or memory and presence—I aim to understand how my body interacts with (and affects) the world around me. Between painting, printmaking, and dance, I aim to build moments that push the eye into versions of reality that are just beyond touch. Queerness tiptoes into landscapes. Colors push each other out of frame. Storytelling allows me to
question how we have been taught to view bodies and make assumptions based on physicality. Movement has a crucial role in every piece I make: in process, and often as a product.

I’m continuously inspired by artists whose work alters the body and the eye, and heavily influenced by the history of social dance, illustration, and the surreal.
